Ever since i came here, I became even more kiam siap. When parents are not paying for all your dinners, or footing the bills for your shopping, even grocery shopping, pain can be physically felt from your wallet. It's like a 'pull' from your wallet, straight to your heart, dunno how the connection is made but it is.

But at the same time, you just feel like buying something to make urself feel good. I believe in a therapy that deniece introduced. It's called shopping therapy! You will feel good for the day.. and any girl should know that! but after that, when you see the inner of your wallet completely bare.. sigh.. you know the next few days are gonna be spent at home.

Need a job desperately, but not willing to work at the same time.

I am a Bum and I will admit it!

Besides, holidays ended, and assignments are as usual piling up! I am soooo gonna finish studying all my syllabus before my exams plus put in a lot of effort in my assignments this time. It's only a month before the holidays start again. And that shall be my motivation!!

And this will be my other motivation too....

Not the car.. hmm, maybe i can be more materialistic and imagine all the stuff i can get if i succeed in my course.. But anyways, in the mean time, I'll be looking up to Lee Hom. Lame I know, but he is a good example of what hard work can bring you. Yes! All you students, work hard to get what you want! If you believe it, you can do it!!

Any motivational messages would be welcomed, guys!! *desperate*

surfing

Spring holidays are here!

Let's see.. Haven't been productive at all, but i guess that's the point of holidays.. at least for me.
the only thing i've been doing is just bumming around at the beach. It's so nice to just lie on the beach. Of course, getting dark is the con. But, the aussies definitely loves their tan! The only thing the sun is doing to my skin is giving it scales!! Sun definitely ages skin, and I have good solid proof, ON me!!! and if i come home dark, it's an aussie-thang..

Well, the most fun i had was yesterday! Been surfing! Well, not actual surfing, but attempting surfing. With Malibu surfboards! sounds cool eih.. but those boards are just bigger surfboards which are softer so if they whack you, you don't actually have a hole in the head.

Let me just say one thing, wind and board does not go together! I had so much trouble bringing the board near the water, and into the sea. I had problems keeping the board in the right direction. Imagine wind blowing the board and the board pushing you while you try to walk on the sand which is really soft, making it even more tiring. Not mentioning the fact that gym on the previous day left my whole body aching. On top of that paddling in the water got me no where.. Weird. But when the waves pushes your board when you are on it,.... ooooh it's FUN! drinking sea water was not fun though, and the instructor did mention that we are not meant to drink it, when i told him that i did not expect it to be thaaaat salty. Of course I knew that. Even though i am a bimbo at surfing, I am doing biomed after all! drinking sea water not only leaves you dehydrated but most probably with the worst case of poisoning. urgh.. worst germs.. or even feces.. who knows?!

Well, that's that. the effort of putting on and taking off the wetsuit, bringing the board to and fro from the sea, and actually paying for that hour and half of 'surfing' was definitely worth it! Definitely looking into doing it again before i get back home, or is anyone else interested to do it back at home? any recommendations??

signing off.

peaceout, surfer chick of the weekend.

Feeling so bl-ueeah...
there's no other word to describe it. and ppl thought english is a developed language. either that or my vocab sucks.. i doubt the latter.

i could barely fit into my dress. i need my gym sessions but is just too lazy. Alwiz thought of reasons to NOT go. and then feel absoultely guilty of not going, and still consuming all the chocs and sweets and cakes and cookies.. If you didn't notice, food is my ULTIMATE solace. Biggest emotional eater, all arrows will be pointing at me!

Assignments are piling up. That's like after finishing one major one.
~I HATE BIOINFORMATICS with a PASSION~

Lessons are getting complicated.

Hmm.. what else is there to life?

oh. plus i got HSV! herpes!
actually i got the vaccination against it, meaning the virus now lives in my body. the vaccination left my arm sore. =(

And, suaree (a cultural) dinner is coming up and i have to make a costume (eygptian). And i absolutely hate sewing. Could barely sew in a straight line. We'll see how my costume turn out.

My moan-y post ends here. If i take it any further, i will be thrown rocks and rotten eggs at by people in 3rd world countries. hmm.. probably not the rotten eggs, cause they are low on food.

Past and Future Night

This was last week's event! the past and future night for my block. I got the Past theme, and

thought to save money, i could just wear my batik. Well, i'm actually thinking batik = past malaysian women. But in the end, it turned out that i look as though i was going to the beach. But, you know what... I'm a trendy gal from the past. That's right!

And the peepz from upstairs are supposed to dress from the future. They did a pretty fantastic job. Some of them dressed according to the characters from Futurama. Watch nearly every single episode, and on top of that, dressed as them. hmm... is that a huge help sign for futurama addiction?

that's 'bender' and me and the picture below shows melissa as the asian chick from futurama, and ivan (red) as the main character and glenn as the captain. I'm not that bigga fan to remember all the character names.. especially with my 'excellent' memory.

MERDEKA!

happy merdeka to everyone! it's kinda a belated wish. but oh well..

Can't believe i actually celebrated merdeka day! reminds me of the ol' skool days where we sang patriotic songs to our hearts! well, believe it or not, i participated in the 'Voice Chamber' singing in front of 250 peepz. If it was bad, don't tell me, if it was good, u can drop me some messages (to those who had seen the performance).

I love how everyone semangat sing our two fave patriotic songs. Keranamu Malaysia which ppl just screamed 'Keranamu lalalala...' not knowing the lyrics. And of course, the all time fave, Tanggal 31! any malaysians who doesn't know this song ought to chop theirselves up using a butcher knife. Easiest and best patriotic song ever. Last night was a truly malaysian night.. roast duck was served too! man i miss that! and fried ice-cream too! and believe it or not, i never had it before back at home. And Gowri told me that they sold it at Chow Yang!! all the times i was there... sigh.. i'm disappointed in myself!

Anyways, that's it. Let's see how tomorrow night goes. First theme party for my block.

August Birthdays

There are so many birthdays this month! There's mum, bro, and a lotta friends! just last week, i attended to parties on fri. A lunch at The Brewery followed by a fancy hair theme party.
Lunch was good! won a happy tree friends DVD!
For the fancy hair theme party.. me aili and mellisa just had a lotta fun with our hair! spray, clips, curlers, straighters, pony tails, bracelets (in hair!!) and even flowers! Here are the pics:
Some obviously didn't dress their hair up enough. Well, no worries for them, cause in the end, their hair was sprayed with rainbow colours!! It was all good! A definitely fun night! btw, it's the white eye-browed guy's birthday. He had a beard to go with it actually. Guess, he was salivating all over it and had to remove it after seeing all the hot gals! don't get me wrong.. he is a nice guy.

That's aili (funky), melissa (crazy cute), me and yin hua (rock chick)

PS: I'm seriously broke!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =(

ppl, sharing is caring..

Here's my update for this week. Had one of the busiest week ever..! Had 2 assignments due..! meaning not attending much classes on Mon. and.. tues was a holiday which i spent finishing the assignment, and wed had a 3hour lab.. that was it. And thurs was the usual. 9-5 class.. tiring! and the fun part begins..!

first event : Bush Dance!! ok, when i first heard that, i thought that it was like dressing up in grass skirts. Like indians.. or something like that.. apparently Not! it's a more of a cowboy thing. So what's more cowboy than flannel shirts??

Here are some photos:

That's Daddy Shae, Cheddar Yedda and Me! All from block 5!

That's Carmen and me. We both have the same shirts.. Got it from BigW. From the lil boys section. Yes, i repeat, the lil boys section. Not exactly the cheapest thing in the world though.

The regular trio.

My secret fantasy.. beating up ppl! I'm tough ppl, don't mess with me!

2nd Event: Road Trip to Hunter Valley. Actually, Newcastle is in Hunter Valley but, we went and visited the vineyards.. And it was winter. Never quite think that there will NOT be any grapes there!

See! It's completely BARE. Even my uncle's porch got more grapes than that!

but oh well.. it was fun anyways, wine tasting rocks! besides the fact we drove the most awesome car i've ever driven. It's soooo smooth, that you can't compare it to smooth peanut butter or ice cream, or even milk..! it's amazing.. and SPACIOUS.. and NEW! just 18km on the meter. We rented an absolutely new car. sigggh.. it was gooood. My new baby. Which i parted with the next day. sadly.. i'll miss you.

See! All of us love the car.

Wine tasting was fun too of course.. And we took the breathalizer test after to ensure safe driving. And me and my friend drank the same amount and somehow she had 0.000 while i got 0.016! but anyways, it's a good thing.. i got to rest and relax as the driver fussed over directions.. keke..

The Breathalizer

and i bought this awwweesomee dessert wine! it's the best i ever had. (actually that's not saying a lot cause i don't drink alot.. but still....) The view around hunter valley was really good. Here are some photos.

The day didn't quite end there. Since we had the car for the day. We decided to make full use of it. Driving it to the grocery store, gym (yes we DROVE there to walk, and the gym was less than 10 minutes walk away) and we drove to Evatt House (which was just across the road) to meet some friends. And of course, we drove to the beach at night too! A bit cold, and had my first Hokkien Mee in..... 7 months?!! it tasted good but the noodles are the thin type. Sigh, Malaysia serves the best food ever.

Event 4: Next day, was soooo bummed, but had to wake up at 800 to return the car, took a bus to develop some photos to find the machines not working. Took another bus trip back and slept til arvo. Had a meeting with friends. And then... went to a drive-in theatre!! It was my first ever and it was EXACTLY like in Grease!! It was supppper awesome!! and i'm not kidding!I felt as though i travelled back time. It was gravel road, and there was a small old but well-maintained building selling food. it was friggggggiiinngg cold though! thank god i had a blanket but still, i was shaking.

Price wise, 40bucks for a car. and three new movies! the simpsons, die hard 4 and knocked up! what-a-deal! but i kinda slept through knocked up, cause i've seen it before.

And sunday came, and i had another meeting with friends, and i TRUSTED my housemates and left my room door un-locked. And guess what? BIG mistake. Evidence as shown below,

They TP my room! aiyo.. and guess what, my RA(shae) just watched!! and did not stop them!.. Thank you very much guys! i appreciate it. But honestly, it was done pretty neatly (the knots at the side). Doesn't mean i'd allow it again though!

Well, after that whole scenario, we had a unit dinner!! and it was Pizza Night!! Shae rolled up some doughs, and I put toppings on mine!! Mine was The Best! well, not really, actually, shae's was the best. Olives do make a lot of difference! And we had Apple Crumble with Ice cream for dessert.. yumm.. And now here i am, supposedly doing my lab report, but here am blogging. Ok, back to work.. sigh. Will look forward for the next weekend!

Missed Sydney!

because of asses i missed a trip down to sydney.

2 ass due this week.

But I did manage to get around newcastle a bit more though.. Supposedly for lunch but time passed sooo fast. Saturday afternoon was near purrr-fect. Went down to Scratchley's to satisfy my calamari rings cravings! *sigh* it was gooood.. with the view of the ocean nearby.. (but actually it is more of a view of a dock, with ships passing).
Followed by a quest to search for Wicked Chocolate. As the name tells you, the place is fucking WICKED!! one of my new fave places.
1) couches - win me over at once.. and they are clean! win me over even more!
2) NO CROWD!!!! - can u ask for more
.... apparently you can!
3) super-friendly owners - makes me think they deserve their lil shop even more.. what a dream, to own a choc shop near the beach!
4) and most importantly.... AMAZING choc drinks, cakes and chocolates! They use belgium chocs to make the drinks.. and seriously 'kau' wei... and guess wut?! the price is the same as gloria jeans (4$) .. and the cherry choc truffle cake with brandy was yummylicious. No kidding!

how good is that?!

then, we decided to go back to miserable home.. the only reason its miserable is because of the assignments that are waiting for me. But the bus wouldn't come til half hour later (there is bus time tables here unlike KL). So, half an hour, what to do...?

Lie on the grass facing the ocean, with the warm sun beam on our bodies with the wind blowing....

pretty cool eih?

But actually, at one point, the wind was sooo strong, it felt as though it was pushing us.. but can't ask for too much sometimes... sigh.. my lovely afternoon....

and now? sitting in front of my laptop for one a half days, doing my assignment. just finished a tub of vanilla ice-cream. Work is definitely not good for my weight. but oh well....

~till next update~

latest update after 2 months.

i've been too lazy to update per usual. But since sel made a deal with me, i'm gonna update as much as i can! free meal for free updates.. sounds fair! mamak at SS2..! i miss mamak food!

OK, let me see..
there was the exam week, where we studied in the living room, pissing most of my housemates who finished their exams early cause they feel guilty about making noise while we were studying but badly wanna celebrate their holidays.. Anyways, we manage to bully John as usual.. we actually TP his room (toilet paper).. it was completely covered.. photos will be updated soon! but we did manage to catch a photo of John doing something funny.. keke..

that's yedda's bed in the living room, cause her room flooded. But the weird thing is...... what is John doing under her bed???

Anyways, that's that.. And the holidays, were spent at yedda's house where the view was just as beautiful. Blue Mountains view in the backyard.. How amazing. We took 7 to 8 km walks for fun.. and the view was so good, you don't even feel that tired! I was pretty amazed at my own stamina. (remember how i usually nearly died in those school p.e. tests?? 5km kills!) And her bro had his 18th birthday then too! and oh goddd.... his frens are pretty.............. special??
their high-five definition: high five followed by a lick on the hand or a slap on the butt!
and there were this pair of twins.. who remind me a lot of the hobbit from LOTR! let's just say a lot of hand action happened that night... Anyways, here's a photo of a present we got for her brother from sydney.

And few weeks ago, our uni celebrated autonomy day.

Autonomy Day = The day Uni of Newcastle becomes independent from Uni of New South Wales
= Drinking day for students

The basic rule is that everyone wakes up early and drink as long as they can. So, at 4.00am, and yes, i repeat 4a.m. pots and pans were banged... And loud music was played to wake the whole college up. And breakfast was cooked and everyone was up and drinking! It was crazy. Well, here's a random photo of my unit at 6a.m. having breakfast. I still can't believe that everyone was up and cooked brekky!
if you notice on the top left, shae, my R.A. was even wearing his chicken hat!

It was a pretty fun day. Big part cause John had a lil too much to drink even before 10am! let's just say a couple of videos will be kept in most of our pcs for black mailing purposes. And the uni's bar had events going on.. There were big inflatable stuff that you can play with and there was the iron man competition where i think people have like drinking competitions. And random people came into the college and oh gawd... for this, you gotta ask me personally for the story.

And the next few weeks were pretty event-less. Being typical gals, how do we entertain ourselves? Cooking of course... keke... here's some photos

Gingerbread cookie with 'H' (Hua)!! it's soooo cute and fat...!!!

That's my gingerbread cookies..! think i can't cook eih.. here's the proof that i can!!! mwahaha!!

And since i miss my favourite egg tarts, i decided to make my own!!! and wa la....
look good eih.. *nudge nudge* salivating eih....
but actually they are not edible.. too much butter for the sides.. i actually threw them all away =(

Wonder what else we did for fun? since it's illegal to play with fireworks back at home, we decided to play with sparklers aka 'tik tik kam'..

Missing those childhood days!! can't even remember when the last time i played with them was.

It's the shape of a heart!!!

Everyone running away as Chris prepare to throw them into the air!

That's Chris throwing some into the air.. and then some at the other guys! it was fun watching the boys running away as though it would kill them.. although they might actually burn them lah...

Well, that's all the 'exciting' stuff that's been going on...

ps: Sel, i want my free meal!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Ai Li!

Friendship is unpredictable.
You thought you have it, but you actually don't.
You might once have it,
And without realising, it has faded.
The ones you thought are gone,
Are actually there in case you need them.
(LUV YA GALS)

This weekend have been pretty disasterous. Continuos rains, floods resulting in foul smelling rooms!
Event 1: Decided to be hardworking and tried walking to the lab (at the other faaarrr end of campus) to study even though it was raining. Halfway through, gave up and detoured to another library. Rained too hard, decided to wait for rain to stop. Rain got heavier. Fire alarm in the building went off. Had to evacuate. Got splashed by passing cars. Reached home and realised that the 2 rooms in my hallway had flooded. Thank god, my room is fine and i still have electricity. Sometimes I believe that there is really a silver lining to everything.
And Ai Li had a huge puddle in the middle of her room. It would be fun to have an inflatable boat in her room! So my room became AiLi's room too for last night.. being the generous me =). Current situation: Still smelling the wet carpets even though I'm in my room.. Think the molds are having parties on the carpet and mating and spreading themselves all over.

Since this is my personal space, I shall just continue ranting..

Event 2: Was suppose to have a fun night out that night. But blarrrdddy weather prevented. I sooooo deserved it after all the hours i spent at the dining hall studying! It was so blardy teruk lah.. Mood also hilang. Totally pissed about it. Was looking forward to it for a couple of days! And the most 'exciting' thing happened. -_- My friends decided to play the most 'exciting' game, Trivial Pursuit. Absolutely HATED the game. Enjoyed the company so I just stayed for the game which ended at 3am!!! This is KERAZEEE considering that FINALS are just next week. Sooo should have left. suckeeeee wei

Now, here I am, blogging to procrastinate.. Sienzzzzz..

HAPPY 19th Birthday Woonie, woonie, woon woon! Hope you like the surprise..!

S.T.O.M.P

You guys here know that I am not the big drinker and partying sort. So last week, IH had PPP night. Pimps, prostitutes and pornstars night. Surprise.. surprise.... I was in my comfy pajamas watching the going-ons. It was so much fun watching everyone! Everyone dressed up and basically got drunk and partayyeed! Here are some photos that i got off facebook..
slutty dude? with a pimp

Btw, the 2nd from the right is Clark Kent *wink wink*

And girls who basically dressed sexily.... or scantily? None the less, hotness... for some

Anyways, it was good fun watching everyone. Seeing what people wear and how they get drunk before getting to the venue. So, me and the usual gang decided that we might as well go out for dinner the next day since we've been good gals that night. And we found out that STOMP was going on the next day as well.. And wa-la, we are there!

STOMP in newcastle is not at all like the one in KL.. No continuous banging. erm on drums..
It was a cultural fest where there are food stands (german sausages!!) and stalls that sell all sorts (hats, 'kain', asian-ish clothes, bags and even some sort of 'potions' that i suspect may be aphrodisiac-ish. And people there dressed really differently. Really comfy, style-o, gypsy-ish clothes. And we pulak.. so smart.. thought of dressing up a lil for dinner, wore high heels! High heels and soft ground combo. I'm sure u girls out there understand what we went through. But it was an interesting night.. All about BEING WHO YOU ARE and NOT LETTING PEOPLE PUT YOU DOWN. plus got quite a lot of uni students there and therefore.. ahem ahem.... leng chais...
I don't mean to sound shallow, I was just being observant and most importantly, a straight girl.

(One thing i learned about aussies, they speak their mind and do fight for what they think is right while malaysians? erm..tengok aje lah.. Blame government.. And try to bribe our way through)

Anyways, here are some pics..
This is one of the 'stages' they built

Dance performance (i think it needs a lot of practice to move the butt as well as they do)

tThe dude in yellow pants was dancing around playing some sorta instrument while the people on the floor are watching a bunch of people practice with juggling sticks on fire!

Yedda, me and aili. Just chillin and watchin everything around us.

Signing off for now.

Blood Donation

On Sunday, my usual gang (ai li, melissa, yedda) had a very exciting plan. What else would it involve if not FOOD!
Ori Plan: Pancakes on Beaumont (the pancakes there are really good, with choc stuff, or berries or even a big breakfast with pancakes..)

Turnout: Took the bus there and forgot that it was Mother's Day and the restaurant was packed! In the end we were just roaming down the street and all the chun chun restaurants were packed!! And you would think that most ppl would be caring enough to cook their mothers' a meal.. but Nope! Everyone is out at a restaurant, letting cooks do the dirty job.

So, we walked and walked and walked.. and we found Raj's Corner! Indian food!! And there was nan and popadam and the whole REAL deal. So we all had curry and rice.. And that was authentic curry not the Australianise version which is milky and not spicy.. Pretty Satisfied!

Moving on.. today, i had my first blood donation!!! i was suppose to inform the people in charge i was from International House and apparently they would keep score. But wut the heck, I forgot. But of course the main reason i was doing it was for the better of the world! Saving lifes..! You should know the noble me.

Anyways, that was my FIRST blood donation! EVER! proud of myself. But definitely not proud of the nurse.. she was damn nice but she pricked me!! i thought i wouldn't feel a thing.. I didn't feel anything when i did my blood test before!

Well, that was that.. I'll return to doing my other noble work. Till the next update!

Murder week

As you can imagine, staying on campus they do organise a few events. Lately they had Murder Week going on. It's a game where everyone who participates gets a plastic knife that has a name on it and u are supposed to kill that person.
Killing people for fun. Where else can you get that? So i figured, why not?

Well, after the whole 5 days of playing the game, i figured many reasons of why not. Mainly the stress. Everyone was so paranoid about being killed that everyone travelled in pairs.

However, the funniest things happen that week. The most random people would turn up in my block trying to be friends with the unit. Or looking for people that i'm sure they are not close with.

For me, I'm pretty happy i killed one person. I actually stabbed him twice just to kill him. And then my dead victim kept on bringing my murderer to my unit. There was even one night (a night before my test), I was hibernating in my room to study, my murderer actually came to my block 3 times! After I heard that, I was a little paranoid even about going to the toilet when i'm alone. Afraid that a knife would be waiting for me once i step out. stress... Anyways, I really salute him for the effort. He never quite gave up. He even tried to kill me in my block when i'm in my lectures... keke.. But in the end.. I GOT KILLED! by another girl who murdered my murderer. By that time, it was the 3rd or 4th day and i am glad it ended for me.

After a whole lot of killing and lies and conspiracies.... a guy who i didn't know was playing won.
Hey guys.. It's me again! Miss me?

it's not that i don't update, but i can't! The worst and best thing happened to me during my easter holidays.

Worst: Laptop Crashed!! damn HP! screen wasn't working.. paid 66AUD to find that out and costs me nearly a 1000AUD to fix it! so eff it! a new one for me=) (so basically it ended well)

Best: My AMAZING housemate brought me, aili and melissa to her home in Kandos and my parents came over..

Let's see... We started off with going down to Sydney for the Royal Easter Show. I loved it there.. the cutest piglets, the laziest 'zhu la', cows, and lots of stalls for games, food and and andddd...... a woman getting shot out of a canon ball!! The whole fun fair deal! but it's really huge! and apparently, nicole kidman and keith urban went too!
And then, we went on to Kandos, which was a 3 hours west of Sydney.. It's a real small town, where everyone knows each other.. Get this, in Yedda's year, there was only 20 odd people who graduated. That's the amount of people they have in that year! and some schools have like 7 or 10 kids! amazing huh!
Kandos is a really beautiful and serene place. I love the place but afterawhile, without all the big malls it might get a lil mundane. But it was Purrrr-fect for an Easter Weekend!!

We made Anzac cookies, rocky road, pavlova... Ate tonnes of chocolate that we actually got sick of chocs.. I still have chocs sitting around in my room.
Oh ya, before we left for the hols, i actually gave an easter egg to each of my hsemate! And i got easter eggs and a bunny at my door. It feels sooo good to receive presents! I actually ran downstairs when i heard i have a bunny choc at my door! keke..

And later that week, my parents came down for a whole week. And of course we went MAKAN!
good place to eat.. Six Ounce. Reasons? food is pretty good and good looking waiter. He is holding the camera. And that's the reason the 3 gals on the left are smiling sooo sweetly... Not hard to do at all ;)

Honestly, in Newcastle, there is nothing much to tour around except for the beaches. And i bet you can imagine my parents asking me 'what can we do today, girl?' And i go '.... shopping?' And trust me MV or OneU is wayyy betta! I think my parents were really glad that we were going to Sydney for the weekend. Just to give this blog some flava, i'll put up more pics..

hmm.. forgot the name of this place. Pothole or something like that.. the water from the ocean actually shoots up into the air really high when the waves come in.. It's pretty amazing.
hmm.. I think the 3 sisters rock formations are at the back.

These places have great views.. but somehow i think China has greater scenics.. just my opinion

It was a good holiday but by the time i get back to International House, it feels really quiet with everyone being back home. Can't imagine going back home at the end of the year now.. but for food i will return keke.. and also the ppl lah..

Laser Tag

End of April Fool's Day.. after a good prank on Ivan (the prank was specially for you since you always bully ai li).. what better way to spend the rest of the day than to play Laser Tag!

They seriously should have more of these games back at home... Either that, or i'm too oblivious to notice that they actually do! But i bet if they do, it would cost a bomb! It costs about 8.50 here. It is something like paint ball, without pain! isn't that god-sent? (Anyways, when are we going for paint ball girls?? we alwiz plan but tak jadi jadi!)

Anywayzzzzz... this was real fun, we get to shoot at people in the dark. I would love to say that I was good and had killed many people.. but being the honest me.... I didn't..

I got shot a lot. Annnnnddd I got FOURTH place, from the back. 17 out of 21.. Well, anyways, it was a lot of fun and would really love to go again and again! would anyone wanna sponsor me??

small note: the game was only half as good as the ride home.. the adrenaline rush or more like the heart attacks are trully unique.. can't ever get it from a roller coaster. Even the S9ians are nothing compared to this.. But of course, no one can beet Vroom Vroom master la ;)

And the night did not end there.. we got Pizza after that! a whole medium pizza to myself!! i understand why ppl usually gain weight when they get here now.

Small message for Malaysians in Aus: Don't eat as much as Aussies cause 99.9% of them work out like KERAZEE.. well at least they walk alot!!
compared our usual bummings!

-Day ended with the usual card games-
-and of course precious sleep-

Taronga Zoo

Wondering what i've been up to?

Been to sydney...

Do What?

shopping? ..... No
eating? .........Only McD's and Baskin. i didn't eat at china town =(

The Answer: Taronga Zoo Visit!

Took a train, bus and ferry to reach the zoo!! that's a lot of effort don't you think.. Left at 550 and reach sydney about 9 something.. and the zoo 10 something! And another four hours of bus back! should have soooo catch the Express Bus!!! sheeeeeeesh! anyways, here are some pictures..
The Sydney Harbour Bridge from the ferry.... Hmm.. what do u guys think? Penang Bridge? or Sydney Harbour Bridge?

That's me And Melissa and another view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.. The zoo is located on the hill and the view from there is just AMAZING..

The Gila Monster!!! that's the name of this species!

Horny Giraffes wanting to French Kiss... Any volunteers?

I spent a blardy 7 dollars on a SMALL nasi goreng!! damn expensive.. but with the view we get while eating it... It was alright.. Still expensive.. but alrightlah..

Looks like a raccoon? It's a Red Panda!! It's so adorable and shy..

Seen this animal in a lot of Disney movies before.. but can't remember which... Think it's called Meerkat or Meer Cats.. or something like that

After the whole day spent walking... we treated ourselves with Baskin n Robbins.. nyam nyamm... That's Ty, Me and Melissa.

By the time we reach home, we wanted to surprise our friend upstairs with a cake we made for his birthday.. But he wasn't back even though it was after midnight! hmm... think everyone knows where he is... Too dead tired to wait any longer and it's definitely bedtime after that..

shall update you guys about the laser tag i'm gonna have in an hour's time soon...

Just A Dream

As you watch traffic past,
As you felt time pass,
In a blink of an eye,
You've reached a place,
Where all you want,
Is someone to be with you

Feeling the need for a simple hug,
All you get is a simple room,
With four walls and no one there,
Who cares or knows you are there

This is the answer,
This you should realise,
This I must realise,
True love is just a dream,
A dream that will always remain,
A dream and a dream only

Hope?

'If you do not hope, you will not find what is beyond your hopes.'
St. Clement of Alexandra

So sick of hoping..

Just Another Day

Wondering what we do for fun here for the past few days while the people upstairs are wrestling? (there is wrestling matches upstairs which are fun and scary to watch.. even the girls are learning some moves) Ever heard of Wii?? Well, here you go...

Looks amazing doesn't it? I've never seen this before. You can play sports like tennis and bowling on it! there are even other games, which i don't really know. Someone left the player here and I just joined Ty in tennis! which i suck because of the lack of practice This player is actually motion sensitive, so when you move your hand in a swinging motion, the little player swings his hand too!

And, people actually wonder why we get distracted from our studies... Who can ever blame us?

Commencement Dinner

It's been a week.. This week had been nothing about studies at all! First, I went to a pub crawl themed 'Mad Scientist'. We actually wore lab coats which are customised to the theme and walk around town from pub to pub! but as usual, being malaysians, i was late and oni managed to join the gang for 5 pubs, where 3 of them rejected our entry!!! DAMNIT! they needed passports or driving's license! The isic card which clearly states our DOB was not accepted! Australian Law... eish eish.......
Moving on, the next exciting agenda..... *drum rolls* Commencement Dinner!!! Where we all dressed up and got ready for the dinner. hehe.. i did a lil shopping for that..! A pic paints a thousand words, so here are some pics..
