Ever since i came here, I became even more kiam siap. When parents are not paying for all your dinners, or footing the bills for your shopping, even grocery shopping, pain can be physically felt from your wallet. It's like a 'pull' from your wallet, straight to your heart, dunno how the connection is made but it is.

But at the same time, you just feel like buying something to make urself feel good. I believe in a therapy that deniece introduced. It's called shopping therapy! You will feel good for the day.. and any girl should know that! but after that, when you see the inner of your wallet completely bare.. sigh.. you know the next few days are gonna be spent at home.

Need a job desperately, but not willing to work at the same time.

I am a Bum and I will admit it!

Besides, holidays ended, and assignments are as usual piling up! I am soooo gonna finish studying all my syllabus before my exams plus put in a lot of effort in my assignments this time. It's only a month before the holidays start again. And that shall be my motivation!!

And this will be my other motivation too....

Not the car.. hmm, maybe i can be more materialistic and imagine all the stuff i can get if i succeed in my course.. But anyways, in the mean time, I'll be looking up to Lee Hom. Lame I know, but he is a good example of what hard work can bring you. Yes! All you students, work hard to get what you want! If you believe it, you can do it!!

Any motivational messages would be welcomed, guys!! *desperate*

surfing

Spring holidays are here!

Let's see.. Haven't been productive at all, but i guess that's the point of holidays.. at least for me.
the only thing i've been doing is just bumming around at the beach. It's so nice to just lie on the beach. Of course, getting dark is the con. But, the aussies definitely loves their tan! The only thing the sun is doing to my skin is giving it scales!! Sun definitely ages skin, and I have good solid proof, ON me!!! and if i come home dark, it's an aussie-thang..

Well, the most fun i had was yesterday! Been surfing! Well, not actual surfing, but attempting surfing. With Malibu surfboards! sounds cool eih.. but those boards are just bigger surfboards which are softer so if they whack you, you don't actually have a hole in the head.

Let me just say one thing, wind and board does not go together! I had so much trouble bringing the board near the water, and into the sea. I had problems keeping the board in the right direction. Imagine wind blowing the board and the board pushing you while you try to walk on the sand which is really soft, making it even more tiring. Not mentioning the fact that gym on the previous day left my whole body aching. On top of that paddling in the water got me no where.. Weird. But when the waves pushes your board when you are on it,.... ooooh it's FUN! drinking sea water was not fun though, and the instructor did mention that we are not meant to drink it, when i told him that i did not expect it to be thaaaat salty. Of course I knew that. Even though i am a bimbo at surfing, I am doing biomed after all! drinking sea water not only leaves you dehydrated but most probably with the worst case of poisoning. urgh.. worst germs.. or even feces.. who knows?!

Well, that's that. the effort of putting on and taking off the wetsuit, bringing the board to and fro from the sea, and actually paying for that hour and half of 'surfing' was definitely worth it! Definitely looking into doing it again before i get back home, or is anyone else interested to do it back at home? any recommendations??

signing off.

peaceout, surfer chick of the weekend.
